When I’m playing guitar and I’m doing progressions, on upstrokes the pick tends to move around between my fingers. It also doesn’t sound as clean when it’s an upstroke (I can hear the pick more than the strings). Any tips?

The bridge of my guitar has pegs on it, and i’m wondering how to fasten these strings?

I have looked at videos, but either all the strings have balls on, or the guitar doesnt have pegs.

Should i just buy some new strings?

I just bought a guitar head off of eBay and along with a new set of machine heads. However the tuners are a bit too big for the head. The head is off of a fender delux strat and the tuners are “f” 70’s tuners. Is there some way that I can make the holes bigger so the tuners will fit?
